    "We have been involved in the construction of three homes with Gene Hill Construction, Inc. The three situations were all very different, with various types of homes and budgets. The first was when we were looking for our first home and just moving to town. We bought a partially contructed "spec home" from Gene and Jeff when it was almost ready to drywall. We chose everything from carpet to lights in less than a week and then were out of town for the remainder of the project. They added some windows to customize the plan a bit for us. Jeff kept us updated via email and phone and was very patient with our questions and nervousness as first time home buyers. When we were ready to build again, we were much more involved in the planning and had specific ideas about what we wanted for our home with a different budget. This time we were in town and involved as much as we wanted to be in all the details. Our home turned out very much the way we wanted and four years later we have been very happy with the follow-up and response to any concerns. We have not had any problems that were not very easily addressed and Jeff is always prompt to answer any emails or calls.

    Our third experience was when my mother was moving to town. We could not find just what she and my father wanted so they decided to build. It was a difficult time because my father was ill and we knew he likely would not be moving here with my mother. Jeff worked with us and my parents to get her home set up smoothly and minimize the stress for her and my father. Now she has a lovely home and peace of mind that my father was able to make many of the choices with her before he passed away. Gene Hill construction was reliable, responsive, and honest with us in all three projects. We hope not to have to build another home anytime soon, but would definitely be happy to work with them again."
